Rate provided on your order is for indication only. To get the rate you have been given you need to pay for your currency today. If payment is received the following day or any other day after we will alter your rate.

It takes around two hours for a faster payment bank transfer. (Please click here to see if your bank offers this).

Step 2 - Compliance Identification Check

We will email you when we have received your payment then we complete our compliance checks to verify your identity against the payment we have received and request ID if required under the Anti Money Laundering Regulations (below for rules).

If you require delivery to an office address we will email you after you have paid the order for your ID (please see our ID requirements for more).

Step 3 - Dispatch

Once dispatched we email you the Royal Mail tracking number by 6pm on day of dispatch so you can keep an eye on it the whole way through the delivery system. Delivery is by Royal Mail next day delivery and is under their terms once dispatched. See Royal Mail website for further details.

Delivery will be made following day between 8am-1pm. The parcel will turn up with your normal postman and have to be signed for.

Royal Mail Next day Guaranteed is an excellent and reliable service. For peace of mind allow yourself 1 days grace in the event of a delay but these are extremely rare.Covent Garden FX is bound by Royal Mail Terms if items are delayed.

Working days are Monday to Friday. Exceptions apply on Bank Holidays.

Next Day Delivery Rules

  1. Payment received (Cleared in bank) by 2pm for next day delivery.
  2. Payments received after 2pm will be sent out the following day.
  3. Payments received (Cleared in bank) after 2pm Fridays will be sent out the following Monday.

  5. Orders requesting specific denominations or pristine notes will be sent out following day.

ID Requirements

Our process will automatically generate email requesting 2 forms of identification when:

We will not release any currency or pay a customer without compliance in place.

Under HMRC Money Laundering Regulations we are required to keep full records of transactions of £10,000 Sterling and above, together with copies of identification provided.

Please note: This is an accumulative amount so if you have changed with us before and are going to go over these amounts for the year (12 months of transactions) then you will also need to provide the following forms of identification.

Denomination and New Notes Requests

Orders requesting specific denominations or pristine notes will be sent out following day. We will do our best to obtain the notes you requested but can not Guarantee your requirements will be met. If we can not meet your requirements we will contact you before dispatching your currency.

We reserve the right to apply addition £6.00 charge to cover the cost of any additional weight charges applied by Royal Mail.
